It has been quite some time since I have posted any blog entries - sorry for the dry spell! I want to report on the MCR convention in Lexington, Ky which I recently attended with Dan Grieco from our division.
Layout tours were on Sunday - that will be my next post.
While driving west to a Mother's day meal on I-70 in Rostraver, PA, I spotted some Wheeling and Lake Erie locomotives in an industrial park. So, my generous parents offered to stop on our way home. Sure enough, there was a public road that took us right next to the unoccupied engines. We found three locomotives, all in different paint schemes, with a boxcar in between them. Our proximity to the short train gave me ample opportunity to photograph the motive power. Enjoy the photos!
