-Charlie
After enjoying a delicious breakfast of pastries at the Oakmont Bakery, my dad and I went home by way of back roads through Penn Hills and Monroeville. Along the way we caught some intriguing and rare finds. You can see pictures and descriptions of what we saw below. Enjoy! -Charlie Renton, PA (Plum) We found this caboose along Renton Road on private property, but we were able to photograph it from the road. It is sitting on a small piece of track that isn't connected to any active rail line. Although there is no visible logo, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a former Conrail caboose based on the design. Trafford, PA This video by A_Railfans_Life on YouTube shows the same train at Latrobe earlier in 2014.
