I received the new Bachmann HO scale hi-railer for my birthday. It is a very nice model! My version is in safety yellow, with Conrail door emblems of course. It appears to closely resemble a GMC utility truck with an extendable crane hoist at the back right corner and is quite detailed. The bed of the truck includes some hand tools, welding tanks, air compressor & tank, and even a vice mounted to the rear step bumper. Best of all, it is DCC equipped and has working headlights and tail lights! It has only been test run (on dirty track) for a few minutes, but it seems to perform well. The tires, which are black metal, pick up power from the rails and are also the drive wheels. I'm thinking a bit of yellow paint on the wheels (to match the body) and perhaps a few more tools in the utility bed and it'll be ready to serve the Pittsburgh Division in style.
